First Neighborhood Meeting

First meeting is done.  I think everything went well although I was a bit nervous speaking at first.  Thank you to everyone who came out and spoke and to the residents who attended.  This is all new to me to so please understand we will be tweaking things here and there.  Remember I am a resident just like everyone else.  I am not on city council or have anything to do with the city. 

Some things that the Police spoke of I have done.  I have called about houses that need the grass cut or trash everywhere.  I have sent landlords letters because the property is not being taken care of or the residents have the police there constantly.  I have called the police on kids at the park doing things that they shouldn't.  We need to get back out into our neighborhoods and let people know who we are and we are not going to sit back anymore and let them give this city a bad rap.  Go out and get to know who your neighbors are.  I refuse to be ran out of the city I was born and raised in.  Don't hesitate to contact your City Council or even me and I will help with what I can.
