The Day After the First Easter
The day after the First Easter changed History - the Empty Grave, The Risen Lord, and the Hope of the Resurrection - these events still impact History today and always will because Jesus is Alive!

Happy Easter everyone...or should I say the day after!Β In our culture there is a lot of confusion over Easter.Β We get it confused with the Easter Bunny, candy, spring, new beginnings, family and all sorts of stuff.Β I am not saying these things are bad, in fact many of them are great.Β But if we are not careful we will loose the importance of the First Easter and the impact it should have on our lives in its aftermath.
The very first Easter was the fulfillment of the Passover like never before.Β After the horrific death of Jesus on the Cross and His burial there was a darkness over the land and a sadness in His disciples heart.Β The hope they had was lost...but then they discovered the stone rolled away and an empty grave...then they saw Him, the Risen Lord and it changed History, because it changed them!
I can only imagine what that experience must have been like.Β As a believer, it has changed my life, but that moment, the First Easter was like no other moment in the history of mankind.Β To live all the events of the Passover that lead to the crucifixion of Jesus and His burial, then to discover He was risen from the dead.Β To see Him in the upper room and in Thomas' case, to actually touch Him - His Hands, Feet and side!Β Β Β

Regardless of what you think about Easter or Jesus...it is a fact that the day after the First Easter changed History and has impacted the world more than any other historic event known to mankind.Β Seeing a man who was dead come to life changed the World and for all who place their faith in Him still to this day, it will change the way they live here on Earth, as well as their Eternity!
Happy Day After Easter to everyone - He is Alive Forevermore!
