The pair was charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a second-degree felony; illegal assembly of drug components, a third-degree felony; possession of criminal tools and drug abuse, both fifth-degree felonies; and drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor, according to Sgt. James Singleton. 

The Cuyahoga Falls Narcotics Unit discovered the lab after receiving a call to check the welfare of those living at 2319 Winter Parkway, Apt. 310.

Charges are pending against a third person who was not on scene at the time, said Singleton.

A hazardous waste contractor responded to the scene on Monday to dispose of the chemical waste. The apartment has been deemed a public health nuisance and needs to be properly cleaned and inspected.
