VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
This year The Freedom to Marry Ohio movement will be participating in the 55th annual Stow Fourth of July Parade.
We are in need of volunteers to help collect signatures through the crowds as well as volunteers to march with us in the actual parade. Invite your friends, invite your families, invite anyone who is willing to help make marriage equality a reality here in Ohio.
Our lineup is Row M and placement in the row is M1. They are asking to use the Fishcreek Road entrance for those who will be dropped off that morning. If you plan on driving yourself, there will be parking in both the north and south lots of Macy's, which is in the same plaza as the parade lineup.
We are being asked to arrive in the assembly line by 8:30 that morning. Kent Road will be blocked off to outside traffic at 9:15am, so make sure to give yourself time to find a parking spot.
The theme this year is "True Patriotism". We are asking those marching with us to wear either red, white, or blue that day. Bring your flags, bubbles, signs, boas, noise makers, whatever you wish with you and let's make this an unforgettable time.
