The Calvin & Lucy (Tate) Vaughn home is located on Second Street, west side, just south of Broad. Although the tax records cite this house as being built in 1900 it was actually built prior to 1870 by Weidner. This home was the most photographed in earlier Cuyahoga Falls times. The beautiful old mansion contains wood beam ceilings throughout the ground floor and two fireplaces. The home contains 13 rooms including five bedrooms and five full baths. A rock and sandstone foundation holds up the wood frame home with slate roofing.
