County Leaders Announce Support for Kevin Coughlin in Stow Clerk of Court Race

Current and past leaders from Twinsburg, Stow and Cuyahoga Falls have publicly announced they are endorsing the former state senator.

Some Summit County leaders recently announced their support for former Republican Sen. Kevin Coughlin for Clerk of Court at the Stow Municipal Court this November. 

Republican Munroe Falls Mayor Frank Larson and Democrat Diana Colavecchio are  also running for the clerk position in the general election.

Colavecchio, who is an attorney and former Cuyahoga Falls Council member, was appointed to the position earlier this year when Democrat Lisa Zeno Carano left to take a position with the Summit County Probate court. 

All candidates filed as non-partisan candidates.

  • John Pribonic – Stow City Council Member
  • Brian D’Antonio – Stow City Council Member
  • Mary Bednar – Stow City Council Member
  • Lee Schaffer – Former Stow Mayor
  • Janet D’Antonio – Former Stow City Council Member
  • Ron Alexander – Former Stow City Council Member
  • Bill Furey – Twinsburg City Council Member
  • Bill Wooldredge – Hudson City Council Member
  • Shane Barker, Macedonia City Council Member
  • Jeannine Case – Former Munroe Falls City Council Member
  • Linda Bowen – Northfield Village Council Member
  • Bea Greenlee – Northfield Village Council Member
  • Victor Milani – Former Northfield Village Mayor
“I’m grateful to so many local elected leaders for their support in this race,” Coughlin said in a prepared statement. “They understand the need to modernize our court and make sure it is meeting the needs of our citizens. I look forward to working with them and serving our communities together.”

The Stow Municipal Court district includes the following communities:  Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Tallmadge, Silver Lake, Munroe Falls, Twinsburg, Macedonia, Northfield, Northfield Center Township, Sagamore Hills, Peninsula, Reminderville, Boston Heights, Boston Township, and Twinsburg Township.
