Cuyahoga Falls Athlete Can Really Punt, Pass and Kick

Second-grader to compete for shot at NFL playoff appearance on national TV.

Tyler Cargould of Cuyahoga Falls will compete for the Cleveland Browns team championship for the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition on Dec. 4 for the opportunity to compete in the national championship in the 6 to 7 age group.

According to the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick schedule, the top four scorers from all first-place finalists in each age division for boys and girls competing in the Team Championship Events advance to the National Finals. The 32 winners and a parent or guardian will travel to the finals in an NFL playoff game (to be determined later) in January.

Tyler won the Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation competition on Sept. 9, and he won in his age group in the sectionals competition on Oct. 9 in Middleburg Heights.
