Pet-Guards is a low cost spay-neuter vaccination clinic based on the principal that all pets deserve BASIC LIFE CARE. This care included vaccinations to prevent illness, Heartworm prevention to prevent heartworm disease, flea prevention to prevent suffering and skin disorders, spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted births, cat declawing to prevent cats from being tossed outside due to damaging owner’s possessions.
In existence since 1999, Pet-Guards have provided this care to over 250,000 pets. Pet-Guards is not an emergency or urgent care facility and does not have an in-house laboratory or x-ray machine, so all of those patients are referred to other full service or emergency hospitals. Currently we are focusing on spaying and neutering cats since they are the most serious problem with unwanted births.
