Cuyahoga Falls Man Faces Multiple Charges After Scuffle With Police

A 42-year-old was hit with a string of misdemeanor charges after he allegedly slipped away from police and resisted arrest on Feb. 20 at 2:27 p.m.

According to a Cuyahoga Falls police report, the man walked away from an officer while being cited for reckless driving, driving under suspension, open container and drunken driving.

Police caught up with the man in a second-story Studio City apartment and handcuffed him. As an officer escorted him downstairs, he started to thrash and lunged forward, pulling himself and the officer down the stairwell.

Apart from the driving citations, he was also charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest, both second-degree misdemeanor; and menacing and drug paraphernalia, both fourth-degree misdemeanors, according to stowmunicourt.com.
