Endangering Children; Failed Beer Caper; and Criminal Damaging by Nail Polish

On Dec. 14,Β Cuyahoga Falls police pulled over a 49-year-old woman during a routine traffic stop on Lillis Avenue and found her to be intoxicated, according to a police report.Β 

Her blood alcohol level tested in at .136, significantly above the .08 legal limit. To make matters worse, the woman had two 17-year-old passengers in the car.Β

As a result, officers arrested the woman and charged her with endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor.

A Giant Eagle security guard called police on Dec. 14 after a thief tried to slip by her with a shopping cart full of beer.

When confronted, the man jumped into a car and fled, leaving behind 8 12-packs and 3 18-packs of Heineken. Security recovered the Dutch brew, valued at $160.Β

A Howe Avenue resident reported a known person entered his apartment on Dec. 14 and dumped nail polish on his shoes, bathroom floor, sink and bed. Total damage: $180. Officers are looking into the criminal damaging incident.Β
