Designed to give artists a place to display their creativity, this event at The Root Cafe occurs on the last Saturday of every month. The artist comes at 8:00 and sets up their art work for a small fee, the viewing public start coming at 9:00. The artist is expected to remain with their artwork for the duration - until 2:00pm. The viewing public will vote on their favorite for the show and the winner gets a small gift, bragging rights and the opportunity to be featured via video in the cafe for the following month. Every month the medium and theme will be different. Come and join us whether you are an artist or enjoy viewing art. For the month of June the theme is nature and the medium photography. For the artist, application forms are available at the web-site. No sales may be made on the premises, but business cards may be handed out.
