Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society meeting

YOU'RE INVITED - May 8 Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society meeting

Do you enjoy seeing classic images from Cuyahoga Falls – including the 1960s? Join members of the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society at our Weds., May 8 meeting, when speaker Myron β€œButch” Gray will share vintage images and memories from Cuyahoga Falls’ past and present.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Library, 2015 Third St. It is free and open to the public.

Gray, who served as chairman of the 50th reunion committee for Falls High’s Class of 1962, will give a presentation utilizing a DVD that he produced for the reunion. The DVD, created with the assistance of Bob Gill (Class of 1961), fellow 1962 graduates, the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools, the Cuyahoga Falls Library and Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, features a tour of scenes that would have been familiar to the Class of 1962, as well as a look at what those spots look like today. Gray will also share some of his personal memories of growing up in Cuyahoga Falls.

So, if you have always been meaning to attend a historical society meeting, come on down on May 8 and hear a great program. Can’t make May’s meeting? Make plans to attend our June 12 meeting, which will feature a presentation about the restoration of Keyser Barn. Hope to see you there!
