About the story:

Detective Smythe used to be a typical run-of-the-mill detective, investigating average cases that weren't too exciting. That was until he'd had the good luck to solve the case of β€œWho's That Man?” with the help of some β€œassistant detectives”. His notoriety led someone to ask him for help regarding a β€œcold case”. A friend of a friend has been tracing their family history and there are some questions that just can't be answered until this case is solved. Detective Smythe has dubbed the case: The Case of Dutiful Delilah's Deeds. He invites you to join him on a journey of discovery as you review the evidence and draw your own conclusions. Was β€œDelilah” a femme fatale or heroine?

The Case: 1920's Jazz Era, the time of Speakeasys, Gangsters and Flappers

Two powerful families are at odds and it's left up to one young woman and the power of love to keep a possible murder and definite mayhem at bay. There's intrigue! Drama! Power struggles! Detective Smythe returns to lead us through the evidence. He's become quite known for taking on these odd cases so when a friend on the police force contacted him about this unsolved cold case, he couldn't resist trying his hand at solving it. He's taking the Mystery Dinner guests along with him on the journey.
