Fake Veterinarian Sentenced to Prison
In 2011, Brandi Tomko posed as a veterinarian at the C&D Veterinary Hospital on Brittain Road. She was found guilty in February.

A Cuyahoga Falls pet owner discoveredΒ Brandi Tomko was a fraud last May when she took her Yorkie terrier mix to C&D Veterinary Hospital for treatment.
The woman described her interactions with Tomko as βsketchyβ and her suspicions were confirmed when she arrived home and couldnβt find Tomko on the Ohio Veterinarians Board website.

She returned to C&D, received a refund and reported Tomko to the board.
Tomko was found guilty in FebruaryΒ ofΒ identity fraud, forgery, theft and animal cruelty charges after posing as a veterinarian atΒ C&D on Brittain Road between 2010 and 2011.
