Falls Police Blotter: Blade-Wielding Burglar; Menacing Threats; and Weekend Break-In

A resident called on Saturday after a blade-wielding burglar wreaked havoc in his apartment. The thief slashed the man’s furniture, stabbed his flat screen TV and stole his DVD player. Police have a suspect and are investigating. Total loss and damage: $1,400.

Woman threatens granddad

A man called police after a neighbor reportedly threatened to shoot him and his grandkids on the 3400 block of Charles Street. The neighbor made the threat after the children allegedly trespassed on her property, according to the police report. The man opted not to press charges.

Copper Caper

The owner of a manufacturer off Industrial Parkway reported that a temporary employee of his stole $1,000 worth of copper wire from the business. The owner intends to press charges.

Weekend break-in

A thief slipped through a man’s open window on the 2200 block of Providence Boulevard and stole $300 cash from the house. There are no suspects or leads.
