Falls Police: Suspected PNC Bank Robber Arrested in Cincinnati
Shane E. Bowlin has reportedly confessed to at least two robberies and will be prosecuted by the FBI.

Shane E. Bowlin's alleged two-week Ohio crime spreeΒ has come to an end.Β
Bowlin, 38,Β was arrested in Cincinnati on July 6 on a misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property, and has reportedly confessed to robbing banks in Cuyahoga Falls and Galena Village, according to Cuyahoga Falls Police Lt. Steve Guldeman and Delaware County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Tracy Whited.Β
On June 29,Β Falls policeΒ reported the PNC bank located at 2150 State Rd. was robbed around 9:01 a.m.
Bowlin allegedlyΒ came into the bank and handed a note to the teller advising her of theΒ robbery and that he had a weapon, although no weapon was seen.Β

On July 2 at 9:05 a.m., he allegedly walked intoΒ Galena's Delaware County Bank and robbed it, said Whited.Β
Bowlin reportedly confessed to a Delaware County sheriff after the detective met him personally in Hamilton County Jail following his July 6 arrest. Whited said Delaware County sheriff's are still investigating, but intend on handing their case over to the FBI for prosecution.Β

Guldeman said Cuyahoga Falls police would follow suit and hand their case over to the FBI as well.Β
He will likely be charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, among other crimes.Β
According to the Cuyahoga Falls Facebook page, Bowlin also reportedlyΒ robbed a bank in Michigan and is wanted for questioning byΒ U.S. Marshals.Β
