Falls Teenager Beaten, Robbed in Home Invasion

A 16-year-old Cuyahoga Falls resident alerted police May 8 after two unidentified burglars reportedly stormed into his house, covered his face and beat him. 

According to the teenager, the men punched and kicked him, and hit him with a glass bottle, according to the police report. 

The burglars then reportedly stole several electronic devices and fled. 

Officers rushed to the scene and brought the K-9 unit in an attempt to track the suspects; however, the trail quickly went cold, said Cuyahoga Falls Police Lt. Dale Gramley

The Cuyahoga Falls Detectives Bureau is investigating the incident. 

Falls brawl

On May 9, a pair of men started arguing with two women in the 900 block of Magnolia Avenue.

The argument quickly escalated and the foursome began fighting. Police responded and treated the women for minor injuries.

All four were cited for disorderly conduct, a minor misdemeanor.

A Cuyahoga Falls woman called police after her unlocked car was ransacked and relieved of 50 DVDs and a GPS unit. 

Total loss: $800. 

The theft occurred in the 2300 block of Iota Avenue.
