Flicks on the Falls Return on Thursday

The annual outdoor summer movie series, Flicks on the Falls, returns this week with "Despicable Me." 

Movies are shown every Thursday after dusk at Falls River Square. This year's lineup features a lot of animated movies, including "Megamind," "Shrek Forever" and "Toy Story 3."

Parking and admission are free, and strollers and lawn chairs are welcome. Concessions will be available nearby.

July 14: "Karate Kid" (2010*)

July 28: "Shrek Forever"

Aug. 4:  "Tangled"

Aug. 11:  "Toy Story 3"

Aug. 18: "Gnomeo & Juliet"

Aug. 25: "Up"
