Forget Chairs: Students Find Focus with Exercise Balls

You won't find traditional chairs at the desks of the fourth graders. Instead, you'll see colorful, round exercise balls placed inside rings.

Stephanie Fleser is the fourth grade teacher at the private school. She's asked her students for the last three years to sit atop the balls in an effort engage their physical awareness with the daily lessons in class.
