Former Falls Finance Director Dies
He was a past president of the Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club.

Duane N. Scott, who died March 2 at age 81, served the in the 1960s and 1970s before becoming director of the Ohio Municipal Advisory Council.
After retiring from OMAC Β in 1992, Scott began a 12-year stretch on Silver Lake City Council.
A 23-year resident of Silver Lake, he was first elected in 1993 to represent District D. Β He served as president of council before deciding not to file for re-election in 2005.

Scott grew up in Cuyahoga Falls. He graduated from in 1947 and received the schoolβs Distinguished Alumni Award in 1999.

Β Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lucille; daughters, Teresa Lance of Cuyahoga Falls and Sandra of Green; son, Christopher of Silver Lake; five grandchildren; his sister, Diane Foglesong of Stow; and brother, Don of Dallas.
