Free Computer Workshop For Older Adults

Many jobs require computer skills and older job seekers didn’t learn how to use programs like Microsoft Word, Excel or Outlook in high school like their millennial counterparts. Lacking computer skills and 55 years or older? Don’t despair; Mature Services can help! Employment & Training Solutions is offering a free Computer Basics Workshop on Friday, April 10th from 12:30 pm-3:00 pm, and will be held every Friday at that time for the entire month of April. That means you have four chances on Fridays to attend. With additional dates being held on Mondays including the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at 8:30 am-11:30 am, that means you have eight opportunities to attend and enhance your computer skills. These workshops will be held at Mature Services headquarters, located at 415 S. Portage Path in Akron. Call Clarence at 330-762-8666 x177 to reserve your spot.
