A woman and girl escaped with just minor injuries on Friday after their car veered off West Bath Road and overturned in a watery ditch.
The pair was temporarily pinned upside down, but were able to free themselves from the wreckage.
Cuyahoga Falls police, fire and EMS rushed to the scene and were relieved to see they were relatively unscathed.
"It's kind of miraculous, actually," said Falls Fire Lt. Chris Martin while on scene in reference to the severity of the crash.
The pair was being treated by EMS on the roadside, and it wasn't yet clear whether or not they'd need to be hospitalized, said Martin.
The woman and girl were traveling eastbound in a compact car at 5:25 p.m. when the accident occurred.
Martin didn't immediately know what caused the one-car crash.
Their names, ages and possible relation weren't released at the scene.
