Must-See: Time-Lapse Video Compresses Dam Demolitions to 2 Minutes

A YouTube video, posted by the City of Cuyahoga Falls, offers time-lapse imagery of the recent Cuyahoga River dam demolitions.
The Powerhouse and Sheraton Dams, each built in 1914 following a massive flood, were used to power the Walsh Paper Company and Vaughn Machinery, respectively, according to the video.
The RiverWorks demolition team carried out the deconstruction in July and August, a move intended to improve the ecosystem of the river and, perhaps, to bring new recreational opportunities to Cuyahoga Falls.
