Cona, owner of MC Hair Consultants in Cuyahoga Falls, is a salon owner one day and a fashion exec the next. Last month, her expertise brought her to the set of NBC's hit TV show, "The Biggest Loser."
There might be 50,000 people in Cuyahoga Falls, but there’s only one Marcy Cona.
Today, she’s the owner of , leading a team of stylists and chatting it up with regular customers.
Tomorrow, she’s midflight, off to an exotic locale as the Global Creative Director of Clairol to oversee the brand’s look and feel.

She consults on photo shoots and TV commercials, ensures the featured celebrity or supermodel looks picture perfect before the cameras roll, and then moves on to the next big gig.
Recently, she hopped a plane to L.A., joined the team of celebrity stylist Ken Paves and “transformed” the hair color of three eager contestants, Chris, Kim and Conda, for the much-anticipated “Makeover” episode on The Biggest Loser.

She accompanied the women to Washington D.C., put on the finishing touches and wished them well before their big appearance in front of First Lady Michelle Obama.
“What excites me most is not so much about the external physical beauty of our work, it’s more about how one feels once they have a transformation,” said Cona.
It’s about connecting how a person feels on the inside with how they look on the outside.'The Biggest Loser' really captured that idea, and it was wonderful to be a part of the process.”
Words like that could come off as disingenuous from a mainstream fashionista, but Cona's phrasing is anything but.
The beauty of it is, her everyday contributions mixed with a modest touch make her fit right in with the rest of the crowd, just one of 50,000.
