Police Blotter: $10,000 Vandalism, $3,000 in Stolen Jewels; and $2,000 Natatorium Theft

Brick hurling hooligans

A man reported Wednesday that one or more vandals slipped into a vacant building at the 1700 block of Front Street and decided it was time to do some damage, according to a report. They hurled bricks and shattered several of the property owner’s windows. There are no leads or suspects. Estimated damage: $10,000.

On Tuesday morning, a woman reported someone broke into her locked Subaru and stole several credit cards and $2,200 in cash. The car was parked in the Natatorium lot. There are no leads.

Burglary

A burglar forced his way into a 14th Street residence on Tuesday afternoon and stole over 40 pieces of jewelry. Estimated loss: $3,000.
