Armed robbery, abduction
A Curtis Avenue resident told police that he was forced into a vehicle at gunpoint with his 4-month-old son at about 10 p.m. Nov. 16. The gunman forced the victim to drive to an ATM and withdraw $40. The gunman then told the victim to drive to Herron Road in Stow, where the gunman got out and walked away, police said. Police have no leads or suspects.

A resident of the 2500 block of 21st Street told police someone entered her home and took property valued at $765. Among items taken were a sunflower doll, a laptop computer, digital camera and a flat-screen TV.

• Two Akron residents were arrested on charges of attempting to steal groceries from Giant Eagle, 230 Howe Ave., at about 10 a.m. Nov. 16. Angela S. Jones and Carla M. Callahan of Akron were charged with concealing meats, eggs and hygiene products valued at $125.12 and attempting to leave the store.
• A resident of the 600 block of East Broadway Street told police someone stole her debit/credit car and used to makes charges of about $110 between Nov. 14 and Nov. 16. She has canceled the card.
