Police Blotter: Car and Apartment Thefts

Theft

• As reported Jan. 19, an unlocked Hyundai had sunglasses, change and a wooden armrest taken. The car was in the driveway of 1719 4th St. the night of Dec. 26, and the loss totaled $345.

Burglary

• Jan. 21, someone entered an apartment at 1820 Silver Lake Avenue and took items amounting to $712. No damage was done to the apartment.
• Someone entered an unlocked apartment at 1213 Northmoreland Blvd., Jan 19. Money was taken from a file cabinet in a bedroom closet.

Drug Possession

• A man was found in possession of two bags of marijuana and four pills of generic Percocet called Watson 932. Police found him at Main Street and Loomis Avenue.
