This past Saturday, a landlord called police, saying his recently evicted renters stole a washer, dryer, dishwasher and dirt tiller from his Highbridge Road residence. The value of the items was estimated at $3,000.

On Saturday evening, a employee watched a not-so-sly thief place a set of video games inside a Crock Pot box. The games were valued at $240. The crock he was using to conceal them cost $19.99. The man was stopped in the check-out line and arrested.

Late last Thursday, a Monroe Avenue resident walked out to her 2003 Saab and received quite a shock when she found an unknown man sitting inside the car. The man fled from the Swedish sedan and didn't steal anything.
Rude awakening
On Thursday morning, a man reported that someone unloaded a heap of soiled cat litter onto the back yard of his Alameda Avenue residence. The man didn't see who dumped the litter, but has an idea on who did it.
Theft
- On Thursday afternoon, a woman called police after someone entered her garage off 23rd Street and stole $300 in frozen food.
- Last Wednesday, a Bailey Road resident reported that someone entered her unlocked garage, opened the door to her sedan and stole rings, bracelets and a commemorative coin. The items were valued at $3,400.
