Police Blotter: Theft and More Theft
The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft
• A Pinebrook Trail resident told police his ex-girlfriend refuses to return a rental TV he loaned to her while they were dating. The 50-inch plasma TV, valued at $1,100, is being rented by the Pinebrook Trail resident. The girlfriend had the TV from September through Oct. 5, when the ex-boyfriend called police.
• A resident of the 2800 block of 11th Street reported her Garmin GPS unit was stolen from her vehicle the night of Oct. 8. The GPS unit was valued at $150.

• A bicycle valued at $400 was stolen from the bike rack at , 2300 Fourth St., on Oct. 5.
• A resident of the 2700 block of Bailey Road reported the theft of $70 from her purse at about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 8. There is a suspect and the victim told police she intends to prosecute.

• A resident of the 1400 block of Buckingham Gate reported a bicycle valued at $600 was stolen from a garage storage unit between Sept. 22 and Oct. 8. A screen door was damaged during the theft.
• A resident of the 4200 block of Americana Drive reported that someone used fictitious checks to withdraw about $115 from her checking account between Aug. 18 and Sept. 30.
• A catalytic converter was stolen from a Chevy van while it was left disabled on state Route 8 the night of Oct. 7.
• A Hillcrest Drive resident reported that her ATM card was used by an unauthorized person after she left the card in the ATM on Oct. 7.
• A license plate was stolen from a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the 2400 block of Second Street the night of Oct. 6.
• About $460 in cash and checks was stolen from an office at the Edwin Shaw facility at 405 Tallmadge Rd. at about 3 p.m. Oct. 7.
• Someone stole two 5-gallon buckets full of copper fittings valued at about $2,800 from the , 325 Howe Ave., at about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 7. Police said there is a lead in the case.
• Angela M. Phillips of Tallmadge was arrested after she was accused of trying to steal $111 worth of groceries from at 230 Howe Ave. on Oct. 6.
• An in-dash CD player valued at $150 was stolen from a vehicle on the 1400 block of Ritchie Street on Oct. 2.
• Audie W. Server Jr. of Mentor was arrested on charges of trying to steal $224.88 worth of merchandise from Home Depot at 325 Howe Ave. on Oct. 6.
• A store manager at Giant Eagle, 230 Howe Ave., reported that a white male stole an unknown number of DVDs on Oct. 6.
