Police Blotters of the Week: Beer Drinking Motorist Makes a Run for It, Unwelcome Surprise
The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Monday, a motorist was pulled over on Buchholzer Boulevard. The man, who had been drinking a can of beer while driving, panicked and fled his car as it came to a stop. He hid in the nearby neighborhood and officers eventually caught up with him. When arrested, the man tried to give a fake name. Police cited him for an open container and obstruction of justice.
Pungent mischief
A Prior Park Drive resident went to answer her front door on Tuesday night after someone rang it repeatedly. What she didn't know was that the unannounced guest had filled a brown paper bag with dog droppings, lit it on fire, rang the bell and ran away. When the woman opened the door, she was met with an unwelcome surprise.
