Police: Cuyahoga Falls Payless ShoeSource Robbed
The robber stormed into the retail shoe store wearing a red shoulder-length wig and ran out with a fistful of cash.
Cuyahoga Falls police are on the hunt for a disguised robber who held up Payless ShoeSource on Tuesday at 4:22 p.m.
The robber reportedly entered the retail store wearing a red shoulder-length wig, and demanded money from a Payless clerk, according to a press release posted on the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department Facebook page.
Employees reported the man didn't allude to having a weapon and no weapon was seen.
According to police, the robber was a black man, 20 to 25 years old, standing about 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighing roughly 125 to 150 pounds.
Apart from the wig, he was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
The man fled from the store, located at 1963 State Rd., with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running eastbound on Broad Boulevard from State Road.
