Police: Funeral Service Purse Snatcher Arrested
Police report Raymond Jarvis was seen on video stealing purses from calling hours at local funeral homes, including one in Cuyahoga Falls.
Akron Police arrested a 49-year-old man in connection with the theft of purses from several local funeral homes, according to the ο»ΏAkron Beacon Journal.
Raymond Jarvis, 49, was arrested Tuesday night andΒ charged with several counts of receiving stolen property and forgery.
Jarvis's last alleged theft took place at ο»ΏCiriello-Carr Funeral Home in FairlawnΒ Β on Nov. 14 where a woman's purse was ο»Ώstolen from the grieving room during a service.
