Police: Drunken Woman Cited After Getting Struck by Car

On the evening of April 25, a drunk Cuyahoga Falls woman was struck by a passing car as she started to jaywalk at the intersection of Portage Trail and Fourth Street.

According to a Cuyahoga Falls police report, the driver had no time to stop and was not at fault.

The woman, who sustained a leg injury in the accident, was cited for disorderly conduct and transferred to Summa Western Reserve Hospital.Β

A resident called police on April 23 after someone slipped through an unlocked door of his house and stole $515 in property. There are no leads or suspects in connection with the Americana Drive burglary.Β

The owner ofΒ B&K Rootbeer reported a thief broke into his store after closing on April 22 and stole $125 in food and candy.

There are no leads or suspects, but the owner will prosecute if the small-time crook is caught.Β
