Rockin' on the River Strikes First Chord This Friday

It's back.

The summer long concert series has arrived, and given the headliners, Rockin' on the River's opening show shouldn’t disappoint.

Here's the lineup:

• 7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagles Experience pays tribute to southern California’s eclectic musical group, according to rockinontheriver.com. Without the use of backing tracks or harmonizers, the band aims to offer faithful renditions of your favorite Eagles songs.

• Jukebox Heroes debuted at Rockin’ on the River 2011 and they’re back to help kick off the annual concert series. The band, comprised of four local musicians, will cover the Foo Fighters REO Speedwagon, The Cars, Eddie Money, The Cure, Tom Petty, among others.

Rockin’ on the River will run from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday. Admission and parking is free.
