- Led by singer-songwriter Scott Terry, Red Wanting Blue has become βAmericaβs local bandβ. Terryβs passionate and poetic songs, anchored by his powerful baritone, knocks βem dead, but leaves βem talking and most importantly, keeps βem coming back for more. Traveling with Terry are band mates Mark McCullough, Greg Rahm, Eric Hall Jr. and Dean Anshutz who together build the unshakable rock powerhouse that has helped bring Red Wanting Blue to nationwide attention. - Public Radio is a populist rock and roll collaboration between singer-songwriter Andy Dolson (Dolson, Iβll Never Be Meβ) and guitarist Patrick Boyle (Keith Ravine, Kate Tucker). Their demos recently found their way into the hands of indie producer Matt Goldman (Copeland, Meg & Dia, Anathallo, etc) who after hearing the songs asked the band to drop everything and come to Atlanta and track. Look for the debut EP this summer. www.wearepublicradio.com
- A Band Named Ashes has a variety of musical influences in their songs from folk to funk, gospel, pop, hip-hop, rock, blues, and more. Itβs these different musical styles that give them its unique sound, along with their instrumentation. Live performances are dynamic, with improvised parts finding its way into the music. In fact, on occasion the band has even been known to create an entirely new song on stage. http://www.facebook.com/ABandNamedAshes
- Starting us off on this special night, The Modern Electric is a Cleveland-based four piece restoring faith in pop music band. Soulful and emotive, they have coined the term βcinematic popβ to define their sound. A focus on dark orchestration and warm melody has brought them comparisons to Arcade Fire, Feist and Spoon. A soundtrack to real-life heartache, their self-titled debut album received 10/10 stars on Citizendick.org and βBest Album of 2011β in the Cleveland Scene Magazine.Β http://www.themodernelectric.com
