Rough Night for the Woodridge Bulldogs

St. Vincent-St. Mary dominates first half in 48-0 beating. Walsh and Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers lose as well. CVCA notches win.

The were roughed up Friday night in a 48-0 loss to a strong and fast St. Vincent-St. Mary football team.Β 

By halftime the Irish had already staked a 41-0 lead. In the second half injuries started taking their toll on Woodridge, including quarterback Sean McCoy, who might have suffered a concussion after a hard hit.

The Bulldogs made one serious threat to score with a first-and-goal after a nice pass-and-run play. But the drive fizzled as the third quarter ended.Β

It was a pretty rough night for Cuyahoga Falls gridiron warriors Friday. Β 

In other scores, Kent Roosevelt beat the Black Tigers 20-15; Bishop Watterson beat 13-7 in Columbus*; and beat LaBrae 23-14 for its first win of the season.Β
