Routine Traffic Stop Snags Suspected Drug Trafficker

Michael B. Gangle, 20, of Copley, was chargedΒ with trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony, after a July 9Β traffic stop at Portage Trail and 11th Street.Β Β
The traffic stop was initiated after an officer suspected Gangle's window tint was too dark, said Cuyahoga Falls Police Sgt. Michael Heinl.Β
When police searched his car, theyΒ allegedlyΒ found several hundred dollars, an ounce of pre-packaged marijuana and a digital scale.
Gangle will appear before Magistrate John W. Clark in Stow Municipal Court for a preliminary hearingΒ on July 23, according to the Stow Clerk of Court's Office.
Given the felony charge, his case will likely be bound over to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas for prosecution.
