Sackett Avenue Update: Boil Alert Issued

The city of Cuyahoga Falls asks residents on Sackett Avenue to boil their water.

Residents and businesses along Sackett Avenue between 18th and 20th streets have a boil alert in place until 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8.

A Cuyahoga Falls employee said a water valve was broken on Sackett Avenue near the corner of 19th Street Thursday night. As a precaution, residents are asked to bring water to a rolling boil for at least two minutes before cooking with it or drinking it.

All roads involved open as of 1 p.m., according to the service department.
