Sheraton Dam Demolition Happening Tuesday (Maybe)
The RiverWorks demolition crew is ready to make the first cut.

With the anticipated drop in water levels, a first-cut attempt into the Sheraton Mill Dam is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30 at about 9 a.m.
However, safety precautions and the water level will heavily influence whether demolition crews give the go-ahead to start cutting, according to Cuyahoga Falls Service Director Valerie Wax Carr.
Patch will be there Tuesday morning to capture the first cut, and the beginning of demolition can also be seen via the Cuyahoga Falls "dam cam."
