Stow Says Farewell to Police Officer Jonathan Bastock of Cuyahoga Falls

Friends, family and fellow safety service members said goodbye to of Cuyahoga Falls today at his funeral at Holy Family Catholic Church. 

Bastock, 47, who died from a blood clot Feb. 5 while recuperating from knee surgery a few weeks ago, was on injury leave after falling on ice on a call in January.

Parts of Darrow Road and Stow Road were closed for the procession to Silver Springs Cemetery today, where Bastock was honored with a gun salute. Police officers and firefighters from across Northeast Ohio attended the funeral to honor a man who " and put together Stow's  event to honor fallen servicemen.
