The List: Best Places to Go Sledding

You’ve survived the first big snowstorm, now it’s time to enjoy Mother Nature’s winter wonderland.

Bundle up the kids, grab the sleds, and head out for some free family fun at our favorite local sledding hills.

Popular spots for sled riding in and around Cuyahoga Falls include:

• Cascade Valley Park (Oxbow Area) has a large, well-lit sledding hill available for daytime and nighttime thrill seekers. 

• Kendall Hills at Pine Hollow off of Quick Road is a popular spot in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

• The hill next to Summit Christian School (former Newberry Elementary School) is a favorite among Cuyahoga Falls residents.

• Valley Vista Park has a small hill that's ideal for beginners.
