Utility Update: City Signs Natural Gas Contract With IGS Energy

Cuyahoga Falls has signed a new natural gas contract with IGS Energy.

The offer provided will be a monthly variable rate through March 2013; it’s price protected, and has a cap of $5.74/mcf, according to Valerie Wax Carr, the Β director of public service.

There is no cancelation fee to leave the program.

During the transition to IGS Energy, customers' accounts for the May billing
cycle will revert to Dominion East Ohio's Standard Choice Offer (SCO) for
service, with a rate of $2.636/mcf., said Carr.

On the first of each month, a new variable rate with IGS Energy will be announced.
