VIDEO Meet Woodridge High's New Principal

The Woodridge Board of Education introduces the newest member of its administration at its meeting Tuesday night.

The  agreed to hire Joel Morgan to take over the reins at Woodridge High School at its meeting Tuesday night.

Morgan will replace the school’s current principal, Mic Becerra.

Morgan's three-year contract starts August 1, 2011 (the contract expires July 31, 2014). Morgan’s annual salary is set at $91,000. Like the other members of the administration, it's required he contribute to his health care premium costs.

Morgan is a Kent State University alum, with Masters degree in educational administration. He has served as the associate principal at Medina High School since 2007. He began his teaching career in the , working as a social studies teacher, activities director and Unit A principal.
