View Finder: Falls Artist Presents Students' Work Alongside His Own

Pieces are on display inside the studio along the Front Street mall.

Jack Richards, owner of the Almond Tea Art Gallery, opened an exhibit running through May 22nd to present the varying styles of his students.  The pieces of art had to fall in the category of one of the 24 "special class assignments".

Richards said in classes, his students are taught all types of art styles instead of focusing on a few styles. He encourages artists to produce different pieces to add variety.

"I have made a goal for myself to never produce a painting that is similar to another one I have made," he said.  "I would love for someone to walk into a gallery of my work and think that they were all made by different artists."
