Viewfinder: Riverfront Irish Festival 5K

Greg Dykes of Stow and Rose Nicastro of Cuyahoga Falls were the men's and women's winners of the 5K race.  Second- and third-place runners were Curt Bachus of Akron and Rob McCarty of Cuyahoga Falls.

Dykes ran the course in 17:44. Nicastro completed the run in 20:05. Bachus ran in 17:50 and McCarty in 17:52.

Mayor Don Robart placed second in the 60-and-older group of men with a time of  27:47.
