Woodridge Hosts Community Day Before Friday Night Game

Before the kick-off between the Bulldogs varsity football team and its rival Mogadore, community members are invited to enjoy an evening of free fun.

This year’s Community Day begins at 4 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. at the Woodridge Field House at the high school. Families are invited to bring their little ones for face painting, community tables and a free fireworks show, which will take place after the game.

Guests may enjoy complementary meal starting 5 p.m., which includes a hot dog, chips, a dessert and punch. Local Band, The Blueticks, will play country tunes at the outdoor event.

Don’t forget to cheer on the Bulldogs this Friday night. Game time is set for 7 p.m. The community of Greater Akron has selected this game as the Akron General Sports Medicine Billboard Game of the Week. Fans are welcome to check the billboard, near the University of Akron campus, for this game!
