Woodridge Local School Board to Discuss New Levy Proposal
The Woodridge Board of Education will address the topic at tonight's regular meeting at 6 p.m.

At tonight's regular meeting, the will continue talks on whether to put a new levy on the Aug. 7 ballot.
If the board moves forward with the issue, it would follow a two-step process, reports the Falls News Press. A pair of measures would need to be approved at least five business days apart. The first step needs to be passed by May 4, and the second would need the green light by May 9.
Once completed, an issue will once again come before voters in August. Treasure Deanna Levenger said the new levy proposal would be similar to the 6.83-mill, five-year levy that failed in March by a narrow 2,340 votes to 2,109.
