Dayton Dinner Theater takes over The Brightside for an afternoon built around the 1989 holiday comedy classic National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. One ticket gets you dinner, music, the movie on the big screen, and trivia with Dr. Stupid, all the holiday cheer of the Griswold house without having to host Cousin Eddie yourself.
Come dressed as your favorite character, revisit your finest 1989 fashion, or throw on an ugly Christmas sweater. Trapper hats, robes, attic granny looks, and Chicago sports gear are all welcome.
On the menu: Jelly of the Month Club meatballs, Knots of Lights pretzels, Grandma’s veggie casserole, Cheesy Grandpa potatoes, turkey, ham, and homemade fried pussycat cookies. Themed cocktails and a full bar will be available for purchase.
