The district is seeking to fill open bus driver positions as soon as possible. Candidates do not need prior experience and the district will pay for their training.

The Board of Education recently approved a raise for trainees from $8.70 per hour to $12 per hour. In addition, there is now a $1,500 signing bonus for drivers hired between now and June 29th. 

Bus driver pay begins at $16.39 per hour after training. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Bus drivers have holidays and summers off, receive sick time and personal leave, and are eligible to earn a free college degree.

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License to apply.
