• UPMC completes acquisition of Ohio-based Trinity Health System (triblive.com) — Dennison residents should know that Trinity Twin City Medical Center is now part of UPMC, after the Pittsburgh-based health system completed its purchase of Trinity Health System from CommonSpirit. The deal, effective Thursday, folds hospitals in Dennison, Steubenville, and St. Clairsville into UPMC's large regional network, potentially affecting future services, branding, and coordination of care across the Ohio Valley.
   

• Haman Family Foundation awards $23,000 to Tuscarawas County groups (yourohionews.com) — Dennison residents will see upgraded sound at shows in the municipal building, thanks to a nearly $3,000 Haman Family Foundation grant to the Waterford Players. The foundation awarded over $23,000 total to 10 Tuscarawas County groups, funding everything from children's shoes and literacy events to homeless services, addiction recovery, and holiday support, with the next grant deadline set for February 2027.
